Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 15:7-12

Text: Galatians 6:7 KJV

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

One of the reasons for discussing this topic at this time is to remind us (myself inclusive) that a day is coming when we shall all give account for what we have done. This reminder is recorded in Romans 14:12 KJV

"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."

Following this giving of account is also the reward for good service. Yes. It is written thus in Matthew 16:27 KJV

"For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works."

This was Jesus Christ speaking in that passage of the bible as a reminder to us all. We shall receive crowns for good deeds. Therefore, let us not be weary in doing good. As we conclude from where  we started yesterday, let us look at some of these crowns.

The incorruptible crown. Who is this for? This is for those who patiently run the race for eternity and overlook the trials on the way (1 Cor. 9:24-25). Jesus said that  the world will hate us because they did the same thing to Him (John 15:18-19).

So, endure all the persecutions for the sake of the crown awaiting you on the last day. It will be glorious. Nothing should deny you of the crown please. Be focus.

Finally, the righteous shall receive the crown of rejoicing. In 1 Thessalonians 2:19 KJV, the word of God says:

"For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?"

Like I said earlier, this topic is a reminder that Jesus Christ is coming back to take us home and if we do well, we shall make it to heaven and also receive crowns as overvomers. Focus on this going forward.
