Morning Devotion from the Desk of Emma Deekor
Bible Reading: John 1:40-42.
Text: Exodus 23:25 KJV
"And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee."
I have come to understand one thing from our bible text for today. It says in Exodus 23:25 KJV:
"And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee."
It shows that all the preaching and rush for prosperity at this time is hedge on one thing: Service to God. It is only when you serve God that the prosperity will come. How?
The bible text explained that when you serve the Lord your God, He will bless your bread and water. And even the blessings of divine health shall follow. Do you understand the revelation in that passage of the bible now?
So, instead of fasting and praying, instead of manipulating things and offending God and man, just find an area to serve God and your desires will be met effortlessly. That is God for you. You may be asking? How do I serve God? In what capacity or area would I render service to God? This we shall be looking at going forward.
But decide to serve God from whatever position you find yourself from now onward.
As you identify where to serve God, remain blessed in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Happy weekend.
