If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. 2 Timothy 2:21
When God’s voice in a spirit is choked, he has to speak to such individual from without. I pray its another donkey talking to another Balaam. A proof that God still loves the whosoever.
“But was rebuked for his iniquity; the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbade the madness of the prophet” 2 peter. 2:16
Now this is the catch. Balaam knew what he heard of God was legit. As legit as yours. The ‘but’ being a love issue on wages. (They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Bezer, who loved the wages of wickedness. verse.15). WAGES! - Something I must have despite what I have.
Never say you have no choice, because you do. Split mind is simply me, carrying weight of opposition while doing my dream. I’m sent to deliver a people from the pit like I was delivered, but I’m still busy, taking expressively personal, whatever makes a jab at my ego. God knows I’m ready for the job but I STILL LOVE THE KICKS!
Accepts it or not, The way you see yourself better than your fathers is the same way you see yourself better than your should-do-better children. You are a myth! An error! Opposing Gods agenda while out doing His will. Paul said I should die but I don’t wanna die. “THESE GUYS ARE RICHER “ is my song.” They are smarter and charmingly intimidating. They keep paddling my boat so intensely, if not for Christ, I…”
If not for Christ, you would have what? Taken your own rivalry riches…and charm by force? These are the exact undertones destroying majority of Christians.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap Galatians 6:7, WE LOVE WHAT WE LEFT. Subconsciously we respond to this open ridicule, thirsty to prove who’s better, placing demand stupidly on what we think we deserve. And since God is slow about it, we go for the grab! – A proof that we are not yet broken. Moses killed a man like we would, daily dying to prove a point. Then It was him and God, for forty years to be meek.
Here is the final result -- “(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth )” numbers 12:3.
Is your trip taking too long? Are you fifteen years on a thing, still can’t break through? Cross check.
Examine yourself if you are in the meekness faith. Remember matthew 5:5 – “blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” As silly as that may be for conclusions in a world where only the fittest of the fittest do survive, even in the ministry, deep research points to an element of meekness in every great leader that ever was. Only meekness can access the place of leadership.
Intoxicated by power, dictators are made on the throne. Entrepreneurial grace falls on the meek.
The love of money could rearrange priorities, substituting meekness with pride. In the case of Moses, the stiff necks rocked his control buttons until his voyage sank at the expense of God’s forty-year investment.
That was the umpteenth time they were getting on his most-meek nerves. In anger he pulverized their golden god and made them drink its soup-like consistence. At the proof of his call, Korah, Dothan, Abiram and all theirs got swallowed up by the earth. Shall we tell of his family reminding him- being just a figure head and not a better communicator with God. Maybe you have struggled with so much discouragement due to unending disappointments.
Lacking the where withwithal to forge ahead. The environment you are in is anti-everything good that should come your way. Your faith is strong like Moses’ and in the same fix like his immediate association with unbelief.
You have held on like him all these while despite the temptation to go kicking mighty fusses. He had every reasonable right under heaven to be VERY ANGRY just like you. The unbelief of those stiff necks was the reason why a journey of “just days” became “unjust” years. He was still in the wilderness when he should be waking up every morning in his city mansion, all because they were still talking, thinking of going back to Egypt even after the “so mighty MIGHTY…” God had performed.
Please be careful like he was not, to direct your anger rightly if you must be angry. Above all, get your meekness training quickly and over with. Spending too much time in a state makes a mock of grace.
Not intentional, but since grace is unmerited favour, your favour-scattered days due to over stretched time end up as a-no-benefit exhaustion of time. Parkinson’s law is such that, food meant to be enjoyed for two days is rationed over a month, turning out as nothing but meals of affliction.
Dear God, in the face of infuriating circumstances, I receive grace to have my anger under check. I embrace flexibility of drive in the conformity to your clear-cut instructions as the seasons change in my favour in the name of Jesus, amen.
