THE POWER OF INSPIRATION

PASTOR E.A. ADEBOYE message during RCCG 2019 Holy Ghost Congress tagged ''A Great Turnaround''

Read Mark 10:46-52 

46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.

47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.

48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.

49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.

50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.

51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

According to Merriam Webster, Inspiration is a divine influence or action on a person believed to qualify him or her to receive and communicate sacred revelation.
It also means the action or power of moving the intellect or emotions. And it also define as the act of influencing or suggesting opinions.

Man is created in the image of God and God is a trinity: God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit, three in one. Man is a spirit he lives in the body and he has a soul. Man has physical ears, ear of understanding and spiritual ears.

He has physical eyes, eyes of understanding and spiritual eyes. Faith was born in Bartimaeus when he heard that Jesus was passing by, (Romans 10:17) Something happened that is called inspiration between hearing that Jesus was passing by and the time he was crying.

When he heard with the physical ears that Jesus was passing by, he heard something with his spiritual ears that told him:

• your day has come, the great turnaround can only come from God.
• you don’t have to die in darkness.
• your darkness can become light today.
• this is your only opportunity, don’t miss it.
•  you better use what you have to get what you need.

The voice that comes from God that only you can hear is called INSPIRATION. Job 32:8, Isaiah 30:21. According to a preacher, those who have not heard what you hear will think you are mad and those who don’t know where you are going will think you are lost. 

You will hear the word that will change your destiny for the better and translate you from where you are to where God can take you. You will hear from God tonight. You will hear the word that will transform your life completely. You will hear word from my Father in heaven that will cause your friends to think something is wrong with you.

THE VOICE OF INSPIRATION

This voice is the one that prompt you that, You can be better.

It tells you that this is not the best you can be. In 2Kings 4:8-17 the Shunammite woman heard a voice after the word of man of God.  “About this time next year,” Elisha said, “you will hold a son in your arms.”

TURNING POINTS IN MATHEMATICS 

Upper turning point, is when You climb to the top of a hill and you begin to come down.

Lower turning point, is Climbing from the bottom of a valley to the top; this is a good turning point.

Point of inflection, Climbing from the top of a mountain.

No matter how great you are now before I see you again you will be greater.

You can do something about it.  read 2Kings 7:1-9. ...“What we’re doing is not right. This is a day of good news and we are keeping it to ourselves. If we wait until daylight, punishment will overtake us. Let’s go at once and report this to the royal palace.”

You will hear a word that will come from the Almighty God that will change the history of your family in Jesus name.

In Joshua 2:1-21 Rahab had a voice that brought salvation to her family. ..“Now then, please swear to me by the Lord that you will show kindness to my family, because I have shown kindness to you. Give me a sure sign 13 that you will spare the lives of my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them—and that you will save us from death..”

May You hear a word that will transform the life of every member of your family in Jesus name.

A man of God was reading his Bible and got to Isaiah 40:31 and heard a voice - ''you are not a bird but you can fly'', he shared the word with his brothers. The Wright brothers studied eagle and made all kinds of contractions that will look like an eagle, people mocked them but today people travel in aeroplanes that look like an eagle.

You will become a blessing to the whole world because of what God will speak to you tonight.

The subtotal of what the voice of inspiration will tell you is YOUR BEST IS YET TO COME because God always reserve the best till the last. John 2:1-11 ..“Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now..”

1. Joshua told the sun not to set and the moon to remain, Joshua 10:12-14. 
Ask God to inspire you to ask for something that nobody has never asked before.

2. Acts 19:11-12 Miracle is a special intervention in the affairs of men. God translated an ordinary man to become extraordinary.

Oh Lord, I want you to translate me from being ordinary to extraordinary.

3. Matthew 14:23-33 Peter walked on water, he made history.

God will inspire you to be a history maker.

PRAYER POINTS

Father, I'm asking for the impossible tonight please do it for me.

Father, in every area of my life from now on let me be extraordinarily successful.

Peter made history.

Father, before I die, let the whole world hear about me for good.

Father, very soon, let anything I want to do for You be easy for me.

Father, from now on, anyone I touch must receive a major miracle.

Father, I want to be among the best, greatest and the richest in everything possible, i don’t want to be ordinary.
